Meet The Resilient Health Team

Katie Dickerson

Office Manager

Katie Dickerson joined us as our Resilient Health office manager in 2022. She has been in healthcare office management for 20 years and has other interests in the integrative realm, including in mold-related illnesses and women’s health. Katie’s goal as our office manager is to make sure you have an excellent experience at Resilient Health, one where you feel like this is your medical home and place you would refer friends and family. Whether you are considering becoming a member, interested in a genomics consult, or an active member with a complement or concern, Katie encourages you to reach out.

Karen Ptacek, RN, B.S.N.

Resilient Health Nurse

Karen, our beloved nurse, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University. Upon graduation she and her family moved to Round Rock, Texas. She and Dr. Hausman-Cohen have been working together since 1998 after first meeting at the Austin Diagnostic Clinic when they both still had babies. Patients love Karen for her calm, informed demeanor and wise counsel. In turn, she cherishes the rapport she has developed with all of our patients over the last 20 years. With her wonderfully warm personality and her tremendous base of knowledge in medicine, she is an extraordinary asset to our patients and staff at Resilient Health.

Carly Johnson

Billing Manager

Carly has been working with Dr. Hausman-Cohen since 2003 – they first met while she was babysitting her kids! She has a BA in Music from UT and became officially certified in medical coding through AAPC in 2017. Carly strives to help our patients understand their account balances and is a good resource and puzzle-solver if you ever receive a mystery lab bill. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with community theater and hanging out with her husband and 2 kids.

Autumn Bryant

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

Autumn is originally from Temple, Texas. She and her family relocated to Austin in 2020 when she began working with us at Resilient Health. She is a very experienced certified medical assistant, having worked previously at Baylor Scott and White for many years. Outside of work, Autumn enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and learning new recipes.

The ultimate self care is better health care.
