Meet The Resilient Health Team

Neesha Maria Bukht, B.S., R.D., M.Ed, MPH, C.H.E.S.

Dietician

Neesha’s passion for nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle health education developed during her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and continued throughout her health education studies and research at University of Texas, Austin (2015). She holds a Masters in Health Education and Health Behavior from the University of Texas, Austin and her Master’s in Public Health from the University of California Berkeley. She is also a Registered Dietitian and Certified Health Education Specialist.

She is devoted to her practice, delighting in every opportunity to help clients craft healthful lifestyles and is committed to protecting and improving the health of families and communities through promotion of healthy habits and research for disease and injury prevention.

She certainly likes eating healthy and delicious food and eats both kale and cake. When she is not talking about food and public health, she loves traveling and seeing new places and meeting new people.

Karen Ptacek, RN, B.S.N.

Resilient Health Nurse

Karen, our beloved nurse, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University. Upon graduation she and her family moved to Round Rock, Texas. She and Dr. Hausman-Cohen have been working together since 1998 after first meeting at the Austin Diagnostic Clinic when they both still had babies. Patients love Karen for her calm, informed demeanor and wise counsel. In turn, she cherishes the rapport she has developed with all of our patients over the last 18 years. With her wonderfully warm personality and her tremendous base of knowledge in medicine, she is an extraordinary asset to our patients and staff at Resilient Health.

Connie Trotter

Office Manager

Every business needs "the secret sauce" who keeps operations running smoothly. Connie Trotter is that person for Resilient Health. She has deep health care management experience, having led successful operations for Austin Heart and various Austin dialysis clinics. She is a true southern gem with a no nonsense approach to business paired with a wicked sense of humor.

Ling Wu

Clinical Coordinator & Medical Assistant

Ling Wu is our clinical coordinator and medical assistant. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science. She has worked as a pharmacy technician and can often help with medication questions. She is a true multi-tasker and does everything including refilling prescriptions, answering your questions, keeping our lab running smoothly, tracking all our specialized tests and supplements, and helps with anything else medical or even computer related. You will benefit from her amazing organizational skills as well as her ability to negotiate on your behalf great pricing on supplements.

Grant Williams

Clinical Coordinator & Medical Assistant

Our slow-talkin' Texan, Grant Williams is a steady, assured presence on the Resilient Health team. Originally on a path to medical school, he realized, while at the University of Texas, that he is most interested in genetic research and its impact on health. In his role at Resilient Health, he enjoys interacting with patients, and has particular expertise in helping patients heal through low light laser therapy. Outside of work, you may find Grant shooting hoops or enjoying the outdoors around Austin.

Cheyenne Neese

Clinical Coordinator & Medical Assistant

Exciting information to come about the newest member of our team!

Kelsey Wise

Patient Happiness Specialist

Originally from Michigan, Kelsey attended college at Grand Valley State University. A big sports fan, she is a staunch University of Michigan fan, much to the chagrin of our UT colleagues.  Our patients love her effervescent personality and her helpfulness in scheduling appointments and ordering supplements.

When you see Kelsey, be sure to ask her about her two fur babies – Kona and Penny.

The ultimate self care is better health care.

Whether you want to take a pro-active and preventive approach to your health, or you need more dedicated care for your ongoing or chronic issues, a Resilient Health Membership can provide you with the individualized and integrative care you need.
